I especially wish to thank all of my fans, friends, and art collectors for their continued patronage. I appreciate all the ways you make my dreams come true! The close of 2009 came with my winning an award at the Florida Artist Registry, the Lake Eustis Museum Paper Works 4 Me Exhibit, where my work is now in the Museum permanent collection, and I am featured in the Florida International Magazine's Florida Artists Hall of Fame . I shared my met goals and my aspirations for this year on my blog.

Power of The Purse

On the evening of January 27, 2010 at Harry P. Leu Gardens, the women in attendance will hear about the success of women's philanthropy and the work being done presently for women and children through 100 Women Strong. The event will include a cocktail buffet and a silent auction of purses and purse art created by local artists, including a "Joyful Fine Art Bag" by Robin Maria Pedrero, where proceeds will benefit the Women's Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of Central Florida.

At the Power of the Purse in 2006, we launched 100 Women Strong with a goal of recruiting 100 women to give $1,000 each to create a Giving Circle that would provide over $100,000 to the community. We achieved that goal and at our event we will announce our third recipients of that $100,000 and recruit additional members for 100 Women Strong!

Sponsorship opportunities are available from the $2,000 to $10,000 levels. Sponsors will be given recognition and signage at the event.
